Research
The Institute of Sea Fisheries is entrusted with the investigation of the development of commercially exploited fish stocks, other marine living resources and their position in the ecosystem of the North Sea, the North Atlantic and in distant fishing areas, including polar regions. The research projects and tasks are aimed at the conservation and efficiency of marine ecosystems to protect living marine resources in order to secure a sustainable yield for the fishery.
